I have received my order and am happy with my purchase. However I do need to report an issue with the delivery driver.
My order was initially scheduled for delivery on 17 December 2024 however it was delivered a day earlier on 16 December.
Ordinarily, I would not have an issue with receiving my order earlier than expected, however I started a new job on 16 December and was therefore pre-occupied with that. I did not notice the email notifying me that my order was to be delivered a day earlier until mid-afternoon, by which time it was too late to arrange for anyone to be at home.
At 16:31 my next door neighbour messaged me to let me know that Fed Ex had knocked on her door and asked if she could take delivery of the four boxes. I explained to my neighbour that I was at work and would not be home before 17:30 and she agreed to accept delivery.
I then received the following message from my neighbour:-
“If there is a reference to who the driver is do keep a record of it as he’s just dumped the boxes on me (having said he’d help load them in to the hall) and said he was popping back to the van but actually just drove off and left me with them on the door step.
He started to harass me - and did that when I asked him to give me a minute to check if you were in and wait for your reply - realising he may have to wait a couple of minutes, - which I asked him to- then made the excuse to pop back to the van- and left!”
I hope you would agreed that the behaviour of the delivery driver was wholly unacceptable and that you will take the matter up with Fed Ex.
